Keswick, in the north of the beautiful English Lake District, is popular with visitors and tourists because of its ease of access to many surrounding fells, lakes and National Park areas. The area is perfect for those with an interest in the great outdoors, from fell-running, walking and climbing, to kayaking, fishing and even photography! Or you can find yourself a quite spot and simply take it all in!
As well as the attraction of Keswick and the surrounding area, Ivy Lodge is in a central location for exploring the South Lakes, including Kendal, Windermere, Bowness and Ambleside, and also West Cumbria, including Workington, Whitehaven, Maryport, and the Solway Coast.
Ivy Lodge is situated within Keswick itself and is only 5-10 minutes walk along the River Greta and the edge of Fitz Park from the main market square. In Keswick town centre you will find a variety of cafés, restaurants, bars and shops.
